MUNCIE - According to a survey by Ball State's Center for Media Design, half of the television station news operations in the United States have a news partnership with a newspaper. The follow-up to a 2004 study focusing on television stations and newspapers working together to cover news -- commonly known as convergence - also shows that the competitive spirit remains strong among journalists working in those partnerships.
[editor's note, by kpaul] This is, basically, a reprint of a BSU news release. The Star Press also did a version of the story, although I think the link will only work for a week or so. Finally, the link to the 'executive summary' isn't working, so I've emailed about it and will link and update this when it starts working.
